Official Cannabis is a network of independent strain guides published by Pawn SL and Pipa Partners Iberia SL.

What we publish

One guide per strain, each on the strain's own domain. The most-searched strains get full guides covering genetics, lab-tested potency, effects, growing, where the strain is sold, history and comparisons. Other strains get a single, complete page.

Eight guides also have a character and a world of their own, written as a sign: who you are if that strain is yours, the way a horoscope is written. The Daydreamer on the bluff at first light, the Night Courier in the city after dark, the Aurora Keeper in her clearing. Find your sign. Every strain in the network has a numbered stamp in the Official Cannabis collection, which is where the sites' colors come from.

How we are funded

The Strain Deck games at officialcannabis.net/play are free to play: no purchase is ever needed, and nothing is sold inside the games. Every prize is sponsor-funded. Prize promotions open only after their sponsor, official rules and eligible locations are confirmed.

Our planned game revenue comes from partners and sponsors, including a future integration with Buds Rewards LLC, a separate company. Players never pay. The printed stamp collection is also planned for the strain-site shops. Nobody pays for editorial coverage, placement or reviews.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell cannabis, seeds or vapes.
  • We do not give medical advice or claim that any strain treats a condition.
  • We do not publish reviews or testimonials we cannot verify.

Disclosures

  • Our publisher, Justin Hartfield, co-founded Weedmaps in 2008 and remains a shareholder. Our guides cite Weedmaps strain pages and use Weedmaps menu listings to count where strains are sold. Weedmaps did not commission, pay for or review this work.

  • Lab statistics are our own analysis of the Cannlytics cannabis_results dataset (CC BY 4.0). Cannlytics is not affiliated with us.
